Is there a limit to the number of inventory items I can have in a book?

There is no limit set in the program for the number of inventory items.
At some point there will be a practical limit relating to the available storage and memory of the device.
Inventory items in themselves do not consume a lot of storage or memory and therefore thousands of them should not be a problem.
