Frequently Asked Questions
How do I enter multi-line sale comments on a sale/invoice?
Last Updated 7 years ago
In Bookkeeping version 3 and Bookkeeping Pro and Standard versions prior to 4.0.3 it is possible to enter multi-line comments into the invoice comments field using a particular convention.
What you can do is in the "Invoice/Quote Comments" field you can enter multiple lines by separating the text with a period and then two spaces.
e.g. "Provider Number 1234567. Thank you for your business".
That will result in "Provider Number 1234567." on the first line on the invoice, and "Thank you for your business" on the second line on the invoice.
In Bookkeeping Pro and Standard versions 4.0.3 and above there is a "txt" button that allows you to enter multi-line comments directly without using the old convention.
